Chamber of Commerce members do not work all the time.  They frequently take time out to socialize, like at this past year's joint Fauquier-Prince William gathering at the Inn at Vint Hill.
	The Fauquier Chamber of Commerce celebrates its successes each November at the annual awards banquet.  This year Kathy Harper and George Scheulen (see photo gallery) received the business person of the year awards.
	Jim Peterson recently opened JP's Grill & Bar in the Warrenton Village Shopping Center, just off Lee Highway.  Chamber members enjoyed an evening of socializing and excellent spicy buffalo wings & hot cheese dip, washed down with cold drinks.
	The Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce hosted the After Five Social at Great Meadow.  This monthly networking event is generously co-sponsored by Great Meadow Foundation, Marriott Ranch, and the Virginia Gold Cup Association

A community's businesses and business people are its lifeblood, both through business and corporate taxes, and through financial and material support given to the community, to charities, to schools and to individuals.
